After the successful debut of the iOS version of its app, Fancy Bits has released a major update to its Channels app for Apple TV. This update, version 2.0, brings Channels for Apple TV more in line with the iOS version. It means that you now get both channel grid and channel guide support within the app, bringing it more in line with traditional set top boxes provided by cable companies....

Popular (and competing) cloud sharing services CloudApp and Droplr both announced big updates to their Mac apps this week with new features and designs. CloudApp 2.0 (seen above) now features thumbnail previews, the ability to share links before an upload is complete, Notification Center support, hot key support to open the menu bar popover, and a lot more. The update resembles many of Dropbox’s recent features including screenshot uploads as the cloud service competition continues....
Clubhouse quickly became a huge success earlier this year, reaching over 8 million downloads in the iOS App Store in February. However, as the competition grows, things are not going well for the audio-based social network. A new report claims that the app registered around 900,000 downloads in April, dropping from a peak of 9.6 million downloads three months ago. According to a Sensor Tower research shared with Business Insider, Clubhouse had 922,000 downloads globally in April 2021....
CoinTicker, a Mac app that displays the current price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in your menu bar, has been found two contain two separate pieces of malware … Malwarebytes shared the news on its blog, after one of its forum members spotted suspicious behavior. Analysis of the malware doesn’t reveal exactly what it is up to – it essentially creates backdoors that can be exploited in a wide range of different ways – the company thinks the goal isn’t hard to guess....
I absolutely love using Apple Pay to checkout in stores. Swiping a debit or credit card isn’t too inconvenient but it’s not the most secure way to pay, and new chip terminals in the US are frustratingly slow and unreliable. I use Apple Pay from my Apple Watch whenever possible, and I’m a serious advocate for the payment service among my family and friends with iPhones. Two years since first launching in the US, Apple Pay is an option at lots of payment terminals all across the country, but you still can’t assume contactless payments like Apple Pay will be supported....

By default, the settings in Call of Duty Warzone is set in such a way that you need to press and hold down the buttons to interact with items and objects in the game. In releasing the five-year roadmap, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Tuesday said operating income from the country’s robotics industry was projected to grow an average of 20% between 2021 and 2025.
