Volvo intially signed on to support CarPlay as soon as Apple launched its in-car infotainment system in 2014. Since then, however, the automaker has been eerily quiet on its CarPlay plans, not announcing when it would start shipping models that supported the software. Today though, Volvo has announced that CarPlay is now available in its 2016 XC90. CarPlay is available to both current and future XC90 crossover owners. Starting today, when you plug your iPhone into the car’s USB Port, part of the Senus touchscreen will transform into CarPlay....

But changing the location of that default folder will help you with disk space management and still let you use the Game DVR feature to its full potential....

Google updated its iOS browser today with a number of fixes and feature improvements. Notable changes include the ability to save webpages as PDFs in your Google Drive account or print web pages to either Google Cloud Print or AirPrint printers. iPhone and iPod touch users can now go full screen in Chrome giving you access to more of the web page. The second trailer for the Child’s Play remake offers the first taste of Mark Hamill as the film’s killer doll. Announced in 2018, the reboot is arriving at a curious moment in the slasher franchise’s history. Creator Don Mancini, who’s been primarily responsible for keeping the series going since the late ’90s, is still working on the property, and is actively developing a Chucky TV series for Syfy. He’s not exactly thrilled about MGM and Orion Pictures’ attempt to relaunch the brand, either, and declined a producer credit on the remake when offered....

Netflix treated Castlevania fans to a Valentine’s Day surprise with the first trailer for the show’s third season. The streaming giant’s impressive video game adaptation began with the games’ primary antagonist, Dracula, declaring war on humanity after the wrongful execution of his wife for witchcraft. That first season was primarily spent uniting the show’s heroes - disgraced vampire hunter Trevor Belmont, adventurous mage Sypha, and Dracula’s own son, Alucard - before ramping things up in season 2 as the trio faced off with Dracula’s war council....
