In delivering its half-year results on Tuesday, Coles reported it achieved more than AU$100 million in savings during the period after delivering a number of measures under the strategy. CBS has today announced a new agreement with the NFL, now allowing users to stream NFL games through its CBS All Access service, through 2022. As reported by TechCrunch, the deal will include rights to stream games on mobile devices, a first for CBS. The changes will begin this season, and will be bundled with TV Everywhere subscribers (those who are paying for traditional TV). CBS previously had rights to NFL games beginning with the 2016 season, however, Verizon held exclusive rights to streaming the games on mobile until the end of the 2017 season....

Chris Pratt is set to executive produce The Tomorrow War, in addition to starring in the film. Originally titled Ghost Draft, the film is set in a future where the human race is waging a war against aliens. The plot will reportedly focus on a man who is drafted to fight in the war, with the chances for humanity’s survival relying on his ability to alter the mistakes of his past....

The need to take control of security and not turn ultimate responsibility over to cloud providers is taking hold among many enterprises, an industry survey suggests. The Cloud Security Alliance, which released its survey of 241 industry experts, identified an “Egregious 11” cloud security issues. The survey’s authors point out that many of this year’s most pressing issues put the onus of security on end user companies, versus relying on service providers....

Apple’s take on Carpool Karaoke got mixed reviews. On top of that, the show was exclusively streamed on Apple Music, requiring a subscription to the music streaming service to view the show. However, this is set to change. According to a report from Billboard, Apple will be offering Carpool Karaoke for free via its TV app. Starting on Friday, May 11 at 3PM PT, Apple will begin rolling out the show with a new episode every week, similar to the release schedule for when Carpool Karaoke was paid....

Tom Hooper’s Cats bombed at the box office with a $6.5 million opening weekend. Adapted from the long-running Broadway show of the same name by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cats piqued the interest of many after its first trailer dropped to puzzling reactions back in July. The original musical is widely regarded as one of the most popular Broadway shows ever, while simultaneously acknowledged for just how bizarre it is. Although the Broadway show achieved monumental success following its initial debut, Hooper’s film couldn’t quite attain a similar status....

However, that day just might be here with a new project called “LEAP.” As first noted by The Wall Street Journal, the LEAP, developed by parent company Leap Motion, allows you to control your computer by only using your hand. It is a little hardware box as small as a stack of playing cards that sits in front of the computer monitor and tracks your hands’ motions....
