Frontier Software, the maker of the widely used payroll system Chris 21, has been affected by a suspected cyber attack, forcing some Chris 21 customers to employ manual methods. The company claimed in a statement on Tuesday that a “cyber attack” had shut it out of parts of its systems and data, causing problems for customers who use the software. “We’ve enlisted the help of external cyber security experts to analyze the situation and assist our IT staff in fast recovering our systems,” Frontier Software said....
