Find out if Your Facebook Account was Hacked To find out if your account was one of the nearly 30 million that were breached, you need to head to the Facebook Help Center. Log in if you aren’t already and you will see a notice at the bottom that will explain if your account was affected. If it was, the message will also tell you what information was taken. Luckily in the shot below it appears my account wasn’t affected, at least not this time....

Ahead of the opening of Apple’s first ever retail location in South Korea, colorful new banners have been installed to cover the store’s glass entryway from prying eyes. When translated from Korean, the banners read “Nice to meet you.” We first heard of Apple’s plans for a Korean retail store near Samsung’s headquarters back in the fall of 2016. Almost exactly a year ago, Apple confirmed that they would indeed be opening the location in Garosu-gil, a premium shopping district in Seoul....

Following up on its announcement that it will support CarPlay in its cars beginning in 2015, Audi has provided more details about the rollout. According to the luxury car-maker, iOS CarPlay support will arrive in models for Europe in 2015, while North American models will see the software in center consoles in early 2016. Audi has also detailed how the functionality with be integrated: Audi’s President of America noted that Apple and Audi are working closely on the integration....

AirDisplay, a $10 application that lets your iPad function as a second (or third, fourth, etc.) display for your Mac/PC, was just updated to allow it to push HiDPI pixels to the new iPad. The release notes follow: To turn on HiDPI, you just go to the Displays Preferences and select 1024×768 (HiDPI)…HiDPI has been shipping with Mac OS X for some time....

Reuters reported this morning that top brass from China Mobile, the world’s largest carrier by both subscribers and market valuation, and Apple’s head honcho Steve Jobs met “several times on introducing an iPhone based on its network standard”. Did Jobs travel incognito or was he accompanying Apple’s operations wizard Tim Cook during his China tour (snapped paparazzi-style in the shot below)? More likely, Jobs probably hosted China Mobile reps in Cupertino....

Chris Pratt promises fans that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will happen. At one point in its development, the project was supposed to start filming in January 2019 in order to meet a theoretical 2020 release date. However, that was before Disney fired James Gunn from the movie last summer, after old offensive tweets of his resurfaced. Now, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 remains on indefinite hold as Marvel Studios searches for a replacement....

Thor: The Dark World actor Christopher Eccelston will return to the MCU if he’s going to work with the Thor: Ragnarok team. The actor played Malekith, the primary antagonist to the second Thor standalone from 2013. And if he’s going to be asked about the experience, he didn’t have the funnest of time on set while making the Alan Taylor flick. However, he’s willing to step back into the shoes of the villain if he’ll be in the hands of director Taika Waititi and the crew behind the 2017 threequel....

CNBC has published a new report that highlights recent job listings from Apple and what they could mean for future products. Specifically, the report cites three job listings from this summer that relate to sensor processors and fitness sensors, which CNBC believes could hint at a future chip dedicated to processing data from health sensors like on Apple Watch. From today’s report: Apple currently designs the whole system in package, or SiP, that powers the Apple Watch, and ships coprocessors on iPhones that are used for tasks like step tracking....

A new ChangeWave survey (boy, are those market surveys ticking me off) pitting the Verizon iPhone 4 owners against their AT&T iPhone 4-toting counterparts is out and looks like the former respondents are slightly more satisfied than the latter. As the tariff on many products imported from China kicked in yesterday, JPMorgan has estimated that Chinese tariffs could cost the average American $1,000 a year. Gadget lovers could be worst hit, with most tech products manufactured in China. The tariff applies to a huge range of products from milk to sports equipment, with many Apple products hit… A spokesperson for the National Retail Federation told CBS that the tariffs will raise prices for American families and hurt the economy....

Some new photos posted by Future Supplier claim to show the leaked rear casing to the rumored “iPhone 6C.” Recent reports have said that the device will sport a 4-inch screen like that of the iPhone 5, 5C, and 5S, allowing it to appeal to those who prefer smaller displays over the larger iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
